3D Dandelion models planted in 3D Scans of alleyways in the city
Inspired by the German television series Löwenzahn, this work embeds 3D-modeled dandelions into 3D-scanned urban environments. The imperfections of the scanning process: its holes, gaps, and digital artifacts, become generative spaces, allowing the plants to emerge and grow from within the broken surfaces of the city.
